Don't get gas here if you don't have to. My daughter and I stopped there a little while ago on our way back from Reno. She went in to pay for gas and I waited to pump the gas. I didn't know how much she was getting so I pumped until it stopped. A clerk came out and asked me to come inside because another cashier had put someone else's gas on our pump. I found out my daughter had only paid $10.00. I pumped $26.00. My daughter had to use the last of her money which was to carry us through until the 1st. This is totally unacceptable. I didn't want to rate them with any stars, but I had to to write a review.
Fueling bays usually a no wait time. Big rush for lunch hour by area employees and you may experience long lines to the three cash registers. Excellent sub sandwiches availble to order inside.
I'm at least giving 3 stars because there's one woman that's always nice. But there's a really heavy set guy with a beard that is a jerk. I told him the creamer was out and he says,"God forbid people don't have creamer for their coffee." Then he says,"I don't drink coffee so I don't care." You can tell the nice woman is miserable working with him. I felt like saying God forbid you do your job. I've seen a blonde woman there as well and she constantly looks like her grandma died. These people know nothing about customer service and how not to be so negative toward them. Would a smile or thank you kill you?
This is a contract gas and diesel station on the east side, and a regular gas station on the west side. In the middle of the two is a basic Mexican food place serving not so good food. The rest of the store sells packaged snacks, soft drinks, coffee, and assorted items including sandwiches. The business is very slow inside of that store because the prices are on the higher side for what you get. The gas station is open 24 hours, but the store in the middle closes at night, that means no access to a rest room at night. There is also an occasional problem with bums hanging out after dark finding a place to sleep. For that reason, a couple of women drivers for the transport company I work for are afraid to refuel there. There was one aggressive and intimidating bum one night asking each driver for money. When he walked over to me I told him to go sit back down or he may get hurt. He did. I won't put up with aggressive bums. If you see any street type person hanging around this station at night, and you're not one to confront these bums, I would suggest gassing at the Chevron station a short distance further east about 500 feet away.
Nice and quiet truck stop to sleep. This is actually mustang,nv. If your lucky to see them, wild mustang sometimes come down to the truck stop. Don't feed them.
